About Disaster Alert System
Telesuite Disaster Alert System (DAS) is a in house developed, sophisticated system designed for alerting and coordination in times of disaster like natural calamities or emergencies in a wide spread area. DAS shall broadcast a voice message which is either predefined or recorded by the broadcaster. The system can also broadcast text messages (SMS) to the predefined emergency groups. DAS shall be integrated at ground station with servers and Sirens/
Announcers in different locations to alert public in case of any alert is received like Tsunami, earthquake, etc. The telesuite system will work in sync with other alert systems and RTUs by fetching the data for broadcasting emergency voice broadcast over hooter and public announcement (PA) Systems through telephony systems, GSM network, WAN and LAN. Also, Telesuite solution can maintain the communication link to RTUs through the GSM (SMS) link.
